Hyperhidrosis
If you suffer from excessive or abnormal sweating, you may feel like you’ve tried everything. You may have lost hope. Even if you feel this way, there are effective treatments currently available for treating hyperhidrosis.
Normal sweating helps to keep the body temperature steady in hot weather, during a high temperature (fever), or when exercising. Excessive sweating (hyperhidrosis) means that you sweat much more than normal.
What can be done about Hyperhidrosis?
Even when you are not hot, anxious, or exercising, you make a lot of sweat. The most common areas that can be affected by excessive sweating are the palms of the hands, soles of the feet, underarm area, and face/scalp.
Everyone’s experience with this condition is different. Dr. Orloff will discuss with you the most current and effective treatment options or combination of options to address your specific needs.
