Breast Implant Revision

Breast Implant Revision

Breast implants do not last forever. The implants may deflate or rupture in time.  You may desire a different size implant, either smaller or larger ones.  Sometimes a capsular contraction develops and alters the shape of the implant and the breast. With time the breast ages and changes shape and a breast lift may be needed to optimize the shape of the breast. During breast implant revision surgery the implant may be removed and replaced. Sometimes the same implants are used. At times a different material is used to strengthen the lower part of the breast tissue and prevent the implant from drooping too low.

During your consultation with Dr. Orloff you will be able to discuss all your concerns and goals with him.  He will advise you on how to best reach your goals. Your surgery and recovery will vary depending on which procedure or procedures you will undergo. Dr. Orloff and his staff will be happy to explain all the procedures and recovery steps with you and support you during your journey.
